DMUs on Haymarket depot. On the left is a Class 107, in the centre two Class 120 vehicles 53699 + 53658 from set 532. With the Met-Camm centre car removed it suggests this was taken around the time of their withdrawal in late 1989. Photograph by Dave Rutter. Waddo Rail Archive.

Metro Cammell and Pressed Steel Suburban DMUs in various liveries in the DMU sidings at Haymarket in July 1993. Left to right includes 51226 (L832), 3-car 101694 (presumably 53268 + 59539 + 51188), P874 (53330). Walter Burt.
A view of the DMU sidings at Haymarket on 10/10/93. Two classes of each of first generation (117 and 101) and second generation (158 and 150) units are visible. The class 117 is 117 301 and the second generation units are 158 741 and 150 255. The class 101 in NSE livery is 51226, which at this time was officially withdrawn but would be reinstated the following month. That on the right in blue/grey is probably 51246. Leonard Rogers.
One of Haymarket's fairly recently acquired class 117's (unit 117 314, with 51394 trailing and nearest the camera) leaves the depot at 16.35 on 22/10/93, as ECS to Waverley station. It will, in all likelihood, then form an evening peak working to Fife. Leonard Rogers.
Haymarket depot DMU sidings in 1994. There are three Pressed Steel sets (including 117213 - presumably 51339 + 59492 + 51382 - and 117301 - presumably 51353 + 59505 + 51395) all idling. There are at least two Regional Railways liveried Met-Camm centre cars to their right - probably left behind from the three-car sets that moved to Corkerhill as two-cars. To their right are Strathclyde liveried 107s. S Saunders.
Haymarket depot DMU sidings circa 1994 contains 117306 (presumably 51411 + 59521 + 51369) and 117314 (presumably 51352 + 59489 + 51394), amongst others. S Saunders.
Already withdrawn for eight months and awaiting eventual removal for scrapping at Springburn, 59115 sits in the depot yard at Haymarket on the evening of 29/5/94. Hiding behind the fuel tank on the right is 59302 in RR (Scotrail) livery. This latter vehicle had been removed from set 101 693 the previous August when the two power cars were transferred to Corkerhill. After spending some months as part of an unrefurbished unit, it was now surplus to requirements but would not be officially withdrawn until Jan. 1995, probably because it had only been refurbished in Summer 1992. Leonard Rogers.
